Maroon, 48, of Sparta, NJ, passed away on April 8, 2018 at his residence. John was born in Passaic, NJ and was a graduate of Seton Hall University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. John worked as a sales consultant for Regal Wines in Marlboro, NJ for 15 years before moving onto Tri-Vin Imports in New Rochelle, NY a year ago. John was an avid Seton Hall basketball fan and loved to work in his yard. He is survived by his beloved wife of 8 years, Noelle (Toohers) Maroon; devoted son of John Maroon; brother of Jeanine Hassert and her husband Kurt; brother-in-law of Larry Toohers and his wife Sue and uncle of Keely and Johnny Hassert and Patrick, Kevin and Ryan Toohers. John is also survived by his beloved companion Charlie. Friends may call Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 2-4, 7-9pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St, Sparta, NJ 07871. A funeral prayer service will be held at 11am Friday at the funeral home.
